DLR-005 - ...galloway... - Living Continues

...galloway... was a rock band of weirdos from Charleston, South Carolina. They released 2 albums then dipped out. These albums are emo, american, youthful, wonderous, suitably weird, and obscure (as much now as they were then). Silly but contemplative. Rubber bands plucked, bells shaken, a man shouting over a guitar, as someone reads a novel. Dub even gets a chance to speak.

All songs written and performed by Brian Grabbatin, the Atom 7117 (Adam Void), Jacob Smith, Bob Snead, and Art LeMaster.

this is a reissue of their first CD, my personal favorite. long tape too!

DLR-006 - Adam Void - Hard Times

Adam Void makes abstract electro folk, hops trains, and lives a mountain man life. Filled with buzzing casio noises, out of tune guitar, and fidelity as an instrument, if you want a bizarre listen, peep this.

Hard Times is a tape he made back in 2020 that got released on Unread Records, which is now being reissued under Dollar Tapes! love all up on it!

DLR-007 - The Pain, Killers - Wingin' It (Vol. 1 & 2)

Where do I even start talking about The Pain, Killers? I guess its important to mention that both of these albums were recorded inside of a Buffalo Wild Wings. I guess I should also mention that they are proud cousins, and that doesn't stop them from anything!

With 1 year worth of releases, they have built a universe beyond description. Defying modern expectations, social norms, and personal space, these songs are real fucking weird. Every time I've seen these boys live, it has started and ended in a fight, or a half nude chase through a public park.

keep up with The Pain, Killers here
